Creative Mindfulness and Yoga

Welcome to Creative Mindfulness & Yoga with Jessica Steinhart, a nurturing space where children and families are invited to explore movement, breath, and awareness through play, presence, and imagination.

Rooted in love and intention, our sessions gently guide students into deeper connection with their bodies, hearts, and the world around them. Through creative yoga flows, sensory-based mindfulness practices, guided meditations, and joyful self-expression, we nurture emotional intelligence, resilience, and a sense of inner calm — skills that serve both on and off the mat.

About Jessica

Jessica Steinhart is a dedicated educator, dance instructor, and certified yoga and mindfulness teacher with over 12 years of experience working with children and families. Her teaching journey began in early education and blossomed into a passion for integrating movement, creativity, and mindfulness into the lives of her students.

Jessica holds multiple yoga certifications, including:

  • Children’s Yoga, Infant Yoga, Toddler Yoga, and Teen Yoga through Kidding Around Yoga

  • A 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training for adults through Costa Yoga

  • A Mindful Education Certification with Daniel Rechtschaffen, a pioneer in bringing mindfulness into school communities

She has taught thousands of yoga and mindfulness classes to students in preschool through third grade, weaving in themes of compassion, emotional awareness, and self-regulation. Her classes often include yoga games, storytelling, meditation challenges, and heart-centered reflection — all tailored to the developmental needs of young minds.

Offerings

Jessica offers both group and private yoga sessions, as well as mindfulness and social-emotional learning (SEL) instruction in a variety of settings. She works within traditional school classrooms and homeschool environments to bring accessible, meaningful practices that support focus, creativity, and emotional balance.

Whether guiding a child through a grounding breath or helping a group of students pause and reflect during a busy school day, Jessica's mission is to create safe, imaginative spaces where growth and stillness coexist.
